Simplified installation and low maintenance machinery
Since no separate mounting accessories are required, the camera's built-in wall mount bracket is easy to install and reduces the total installation cost. The integrated sunshade can be easily removed and repainted to match the color of the building's exterior walls. The slanted shape helps the camera resist attempts by vandals to pull it down with a rope. The camera features a direct drive pan/tilt system for unmatched durability. AXIS P5414-E requires no belt or gear and is a reliable, low-maintenance PTZ camera.
Wide area coverage and zoom in on details
The 18x optical zoom with autofocus is combined with the HDTV 720p resolution to provide a highly detailed enlarged view. In low light or night conditions, the camera's automatic day/night function enables it to generate high-quality black and white video using infrared light from available sources. When installed at the corner of a building, AXIS P5414-E can translate to 270° for wide coverage. Support for Advanced Gatekeeper enables the camera to automatically pan, tilt, and zoom into a preset position when motion is detected in a predefined area.
